We bet you have already heard about the Log Horizon TV series, but just in case you didn’t, here are some things that you need to know. It has been written by MamareTouno, while the main illustrator of this anime is Kazuhiro Hara. This series is dating back to March of 2011 when the first novel was published. It contained 11 volumes and was issued first in Japan and then translated to the English language.

These novels are great, which then explains why this anime is so popular in Japan and North America. It’s not a surprise that it has been so successful.

The anime is telling the story of a guy named Shiroe, who is a passionate gamer, but his life is devoted to much to gaming as he has only two friends. They are playing a game that is widely popular – Elder Tale. Millions of people have been enjoying in that MMORPG title, but you already know that something bad had to happen.

After the release of the 12th expansion, something wrong happened. Some of the players, more than 30,000 of them that were playing the game, were transferred into the virtual world.

When you read what this series is about, there is no way that you aren’t intrigued by it just a little bit. We know we are. Because of that, we strongly suggest that you go and check out Log Horizon. So far, there are two seasons that you can watch.

As far as the third one goes, it has been confirmed that we are going to get it, but there are no official updates about when it’s going to drop. The first season came out back in 2013 – 5 years ago. We think it’s time that we get the third one already.
