Taboo will arrive sooner then we all expected with mysterious James Delaney and his adventures.
Taboo Season 2 Release Date
Tom Hardy`s Victorian mystery crime TV series will arrive at the end of the year, or in January 2019, but the official release date is still unknown.
The first season was aired on 7 January 2017 in the United Kingdom on BBC and three days later on FX in the United States.
“I’m trying to write it as quickly as I can, I would say we would hope to be shooting it… early next year,” were the words of the creator Steven Knight. By his side, Tom Hardy and Chips Hardy participate in the making of this popular TV series.
After the announcement of the season two, Hardy said that they are grateful and excited to continue their relationship with the BBC and FX in contributing towards British drama.
Just like for the first season, Sir Ridley Scott is the executive producer of the show. He said: “We’re thrilled people want to know what happens next and that the BBC and FX are up for more adventures with the devil Delaney and the league of the damned.”
Cast
It is confirmed that we are going to watch Tom Hardy in the new season as James Delaney. Hardy commented about his character that he is a mixture of Oliver Twist and Bill Sykes. At the moment we do not know who will be joining Tom in the sequel of this TV series.
Taboo Season 2 Plot
“In my mind, explosive stuff is going to happen, which will be great,” Steven Knight said. “There’s a great destination for it, but I don’t know if we’re in a position to talk about the actual details of it.”
“When he says, ‘We are Americans’, James is very ambiguous with how much information he’s going to give,” Hardy added. “In his mind, you will know when the time is right.”
We predict that Taboo Season 2 will focus on Colonnade.
Taboo Season 3 and beyond: What does the future hold?
There is no doubt that they will make the Season 3 for Taboo because Steven Knight divided the story into three segments: the escape, the journey, and the arrival.
