The first season left us all speechless when we saw Juliette’s blowout fight with Alex, which was, to say the least epic. Season 1 blew our minds and we all want to see what will happen next. However, there hasn’t been an official announcement from MTV. Nevertheless, we received the necessary spoilers from the cat.
Julie Porter, who plays herself in 18 episodes of season 1, released a spoiler which made us think that a new season is already being filmed. In fact, she posts a story on her Instagram near the end of May. The video featured Madison Hausburg hanging on a boat and an unnamed male character. Plus, there was a camera in the background and the captions said: “It’s not all sunshine in Siesta Key.”
Moreover, another cast member, Chloe Trautman was asked on her Instagram life whether and how crazy Siesta Key Season 2 would be, she confirmed that there will be a new season by answering “YES TIMES 6 MILLION! Are you all ready?”

What We Known About the Series Until Now
This American reality series was created by Mark Ford and Warren Skeels. Siesta Key features the drama, scandalous love, and heartbreak between a group of seven people who lead a lavish lifestyle. Starring Alex Kompothecras, Brandon Gomes, Chloe Trautman, Garrett Miller, Juliette Porter, Kelsey Owens, and Madisson Hausburg, the series is a real hit.
Siesta Key premiered on July 31 2017, and in October there were eight more episodes of the series. So, the first season had a total of 18 episodes. The finale of the first season left many unanswered questions. Most of the questions are closely connected to the Juliette’s on-and-off romantic relationship with rich kid Alex Kompothecras. Moreover, the rest of the cast, including Chloe Trautman, Kelsey Owens, Garrett Miller, Brandon Gomes, and Canvas Brummer, and their drama were worth the watch.
Canvas Brummer, the recurring cast member revealed that she would be more than happy to continue her role in season 2. In an interview for Cosmo, the MTV star shared that “If Season 2 becomes a thing and if they want me back, I would most likely say yes, but you know: You never know where you’re gonna be when that happens.”

Siesta Key shoots both in the summer and in the winter, based on the info on J-14, a website which is the best source for celebrity news in young Hollywood. Hence, as the stars Alex and Juliette are still in school, it was quite hard to manage the winter filming. In fact, Juliette used to fly from Florida State University to Siesta Key every weekend. In an interview for the The Morning Breath in October she said “I leave Tallahassee Thursday nights and I get back to Tallahassee Sunday nights – every week.” Moreover, she shared that the TV series is completely unscripted.
