Since the last March, fans are exciting to hear how is going to be to see again their favorite characters in new episodes. However, the great TV show is not coming back exactly how people expected.

The idea of bringing back Brenda, Dylan, Kelly, Brandon, Dona, David and other characters to the small screen thrilled the fans of the famous TV show Beverly Hills 90210. Even though there is an upcoming project who will gather around the stars from the popular ‘90s show, they won’t be in front of the cameras in the same way.
Based on the TVLine, the fans will have an opportunity to see their favorite actors but not as the TV show characters, but as themselves. Meta-mockumentary will last for around one hour, and it will gather the actors from the Beverly Hills 90210. Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling, Brian Austin Green, Ian Ziering, and Gabrielle Carteris will play themselves, but Luke Perry and Shannen Doherty are not going to be the part of the cast in the new project.
As the mockumentary format demands certain knowledge and experience in this special movie format, former CW series project members Chris Alberghini and Mike Chessler are in charge of executive producing and writing.
