When you decide to make a movie, you always hope that the fans are going to like it and that it is going to turn into a franchise, or into a global success. Most of the projects fail to do this, but we all know the ones that do. Here are the ones that broke some of the Hollywood records.
Avatar
This film was set to come out after the Titanic. But, there was one big problem. The technology wasn’t good enough at the time, so the movie had to wait. That turned out to be a good decision since Avatar made over 75 million dollars during the first weekend alone. That tells you just how big this release was.
Pirates Of The Caribbean
This is one of the films that turned into a franchise after the first movie had so much success. The budget for it was huge, they had to use 379 million dollars to make it come alive, but they made much more, which is of course what triggered the making of four other parts of the Pirates of the Caribbean.
The Owner
Usually, there are just a couple of directors that are working on a single movie. The Owner is the exception to that rule since there were over 25 directors from all over the world working on this masterpiece. They made sure the fans like it and they have done a great job when it comes to The Owner.
Breakfast at Tiffany’s
This movie holds one weird record. Audrey Hepburn was the actress that had a big role in it. Her costume was sold for a bit less than 470,000 quid. It’s the most expensive costume ever.
Guardians of the Galaxy
When it comes to dark records, this movie holds one quite crazy. It has the most deaths on camera out of all the films. Over 83.000 deaths have been seen in the Guardians of the Galaxy which is unmatched. We are not sure if this is a good record to have, or is it a bad one. You be the judge.
