It seems that friendship between Dwayne The Rock Johnson and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, thatarouse from shooting a Rampage movie, has reflected in the world of movie industry once again. After Morgan put himself forward for taking on a role of Lobo, one of the greatest names of DC universe, Johnson was very supportive of his buddy.

Johnson was in fact in plans to play a Lobo movie for Warner Bros. and DC in 2012, however, due to Johnson’s Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, it did not go as it was intended.

While attending the Walker Stalker Con, Morgan openly stated that he would like to play Lobo in the movie to come, as he thinks he is a “badass”. Johnson positively reacted to his desire, writing “Hell yes” on his Twitter, thus giving endorsement to the idea of him playing this role.

He showed his interest toward playing this character since 2009. It seems as if that wish has remained alive for a decade. “Lobo would be very cool. I don’t think that I’m as big as Lobo is, but if you could transplant Mickey Rourke’s body on my head, that would be just great,” Morgan said 10 years ago.

When it comes to the movie Lobo itself, there are no official announcements of it yet. Jason Fuchs was supposed to write the script in 2016, but according to some words, it has been postponed eventually.

As for Johnson, he is in the process of making a DC’s Black Adam solo movie, thus joining the superhero team. Hiram Garcia — President of Johnson’s production company Seven Bucks Productions recently confirmed the rumors.

“We’re actually very deep into a script on it right now, which is coming along really well. I’m really excited with the story we’ve crafted,” he said.
