Samsung just made a statement that they will be releasing a couple of wearables, and one of them will be a smartwatch. The Galaxy Active Watch that promises to make “pursuing wellness goals more convenient, more stylish, and more fun.” This piece of technology is able to measure blood pressure, besides the regular heart rate which is the most radical change for this new product. It also has gone through an appearance change. Now it features a new watch face interface, a different material for the strap and now has an aluminum body.
This tiny watch can store 4GB of memory and besides that, it has Bluetooth, Internet and you can do mobile payments. Some of the other features are stepped count, GPS and monitor sleep. They have also announced that the new S10 phones will be able to charge the watch battery wirelessly. Bixby, the smart assistant that Samsung designed can make your calls for you and also send messages.

The price of the watch is said to be $199.99 and its release date is set for 8th of March for the US. People who ordered the gadget in advance will get a wireless charging pad in their mail. The watch is available in 4 colors: rose gold, black, silver and sea green.
Another gadget they are releasing is the Galaxy Fit. A new fitness tracker that has a goal to look more simple then the watch. It will come in 2 colors – black and silver. The battery is supposed to last a week, and it will have a rubber strap. It comes out May 31st and the price is going to be $99.
