The first major role was in the movie “Saat Hindustani” which included some other Indian movie stars like Utpal Dutt, Jalal Agha and Anwar Ali. Just two years after his official debut in the film industry, Amitabh received first prize. For his role in “Anand”, he was awarded the Best Supporting Actor Award.
