A teaser for Rambo 5 is finally out. Sylvester Stallone posted it on his social media and thrilled the fans who were eager to check it out. We’ve been waiting for the sequel since it was first announced in May 2018, but this is the first time we get more details on the plot and characters. As we start to collect all the information given and bring all the pieces together, new things begin to rise, giving us the broader picture of what we could expect from this movie.

When it comes to the storyline of the sequel, it has kind of a ‘bad guys against good guys’ plot where John Rambo and a journalist fight against human traffickers gang to save kidnapped girls. At the beginning of the sequel, we will see Rambo on a ranch in Arizona, as he decided to return to the US after he has spent years out of the country. The synopsis reads.

“Rambo teams up with a journalist to track down and rescue a group of local girls that have been kidnapped by a Mexican trafficking ring, after trying to settle down to a quiet peaceful life stateside at the family ranch in Arizona after spending decades abroad.”

We also have brand new information when it comes to the crew. Among new characters, there’s Robert Siedel, involved in the human trafficking operation. He gets kidnapped by Rambo later on. Other members of the gang are Hugo and Victor who is a professional human trafficker. As for the female part, a new character Gabrielle is also introduced, but there are still no concrete details on her role in the sequel.

According to Rambo 5 teaser posters, we can expect the sequel to come out in the fall of 2019. However, this date still needs to be confirmed.
